Both sides are to meet on June 30. Rohr’s wife is a Madagascan and she will be torn between supporting her country and that of her Franco-German partner’s employer.
When asked which of the nations his wife would support on the D-day in an interview with The Nation, the 65 year-old jocularly told the paper: “On 30th June, my wife will be rooting for Nigeria and she will be wearing the Super Eagles’ jersey, if not, I’m going to sack her!”
