A mosque in Allah Babb a community, Sabon Layi Village of Kakangi Constituency in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State has lost its Imam to bandits’ attack.
This is as per Daily Trust citing sources fromthe community.
The report said the assailants attired in security uniforms, stormed the mosque around 5.30am during the morning prayer.
Two worshippers including the Imam were killed by the assailants while two others suffered injuries.
The deceased victims, according to the report, were identified as Mamuda ga Allah Babba and Kabiru ga Allah Babba, while the injured individuals were Bilya Mai Rabo, Ashiru Mai Rabo.
“They arrived during the morning prayer and entered the mosque, opening fire on the worshippers, killing our Imam and one other person. Two other individuals sustained gunshot wounds,” the publication quoted the source as saying.
