An anti-corruption crusader in Imo State, Citizen Ikenna Samuelson has survived an assassination attempt at his Ikenegbu Layout residence in Owerri after gunmen attacked him in his house.
The details of the attack was sketchy as at press time. However, it was said that the gunmen killed one person, and there was blood stain all over Samuelson’s house.
Tuesday attack on the activist came less than one month after he raised alarm that his life was in danger . Iwuoha had severally criticized a top politician in Owerri and had raised alarm that the politician threatened his life .
“Mr Samuelson is safe and has been taken into protective custody,” a resident told news men.
