Marauding gunmen have left two persons dead in a brutal attack on Jakaan Police Station in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
The victims: an Inspector and a lady’s identities are not known to this medium as at the time of writing this report.
However, available information has it that the gunmen struck in the early hours of Sunday, July 28, 2024 around 1.00am.
It was gathered that the vicious gunmen went away with police ammunition after overpowering officers on duty.
“Also lost to the gunmen are two patrol vehicles belonging to the police and Joint Task Force and a motorcycle, all which they set ablaze,” sources said.
