The Federal Government has reportedly suspended the Postmaster-General of the Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST), Dr. Ismail Adewusi.
Adewusi’s suspension was premised on alleged issue about contentious stamp duty and financial misappropriations, according to Daily Trust, citing sources at NIPOST and the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
The report added that his other’s sin was that he was not on friendly terms with some members on NIPOST Board.
Giving credence to the report in a way, is the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami’s appointment of Barrister Bulus Samuila Yakubu as Postmaster-General of the Federation/CEO in acting capacity.
