Former Delta State Governor, James Onanefe Ibori has regained his freedom after spending half of his jail term in prisons in the United Kingdom.
Ibori was jailed for 13 years for money laundering offences by Southwark Crown court in 2012.
Sources said Ibori was released on Tuesday having completed his jail term, and was welcomed home in the UK by his aides and friends.
