Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, was arrested for slapping an employee of Dana Air at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

The actor was arrested at the scene on Monday afternoon after he arrived late for his 12:15pm Abuja flight and the airline’s security personnel tried to help him to meet up with the flight by searching him but pushed the man away, Punch reported.
The said Iyke’s unruly attitude infuriated the security man and he insisted on running the rule over the actor by searching him. In turn, the paper said the actor slapped the man for ‘wasting his time,’ an action, which led to his arrest.
According to the report, Dana Air’s Media and Communications Manager, Kingsley Ezenwa confirmed the incident, adding that Iyke was, however, released, after he had apologised to the airline employee.
Ezenwa added that the actor eventually missed the flight, which was still on ground when the incident happened.
