Muhammadu Sanusi II has officially received appointment letter following his reinstatement as the 16th Emir of Kano.
Governor Abba Yusuf presented the letter at a mini-durbar ceremony at the Africa House of the Kano State Government House on Friday, May 24.
The presentation defied an order from a Federal High Court sitting in Kano stopping the action.
Sanusi II is back on the throne after four years hiatus following the signing of the Kano State Emirates Councils (Repeal) Bill 2024 by Governor Yusuf.
