The relationship between Kano governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Commandant General of State Hisbah Board, Sheikh Ibrahim Daurawa, that has shown cracks seems to have undergone repair.
It recently came into the open that there is no love lost between Yusuf and Daurawa after the governor criticised the activities of Hisbah and less than 24-hour after the censure the State Sharia Police boss announced his resignation via a video of him posted on social media.
Consequently the issue drew Gov. Yusuf public indignation.
But in a new twist, the duo have patched up their relationship and Daurawa is back on his seat with the reconciliation said to have been brokered by respected Islamic clerics.
The peacemakers, it was further gathered include: the Speaker, House of Assembly, Jibril Falgore and the Chief Imam of National Mosque, Abuja, Sheikh Ibrahim Maqari.
His return, according to report will be announced on Tuesday.
