One Kareem Olawale, a teacher in a private school in Agege area of Lagos State has been arraigned for examination malpractice.

Olawale appeared before a magistrates’ court in Ogba area of the state.

Report said the 49-year-old, an invigilator during the last West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, held at the school was caught sharing English Language questions on a WhatsApp platform.

A WAEC official reportedly caught the Business and Social Studies teacher in the act, and consequent upon he was arrested.

Olawale, however, pushed back at the charge claiming he was he sent the question paper to his cousin to prepare for WASSCE next year.

He is said to have been granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in the like sum.
