The police in Niger said Fatiha Abdulhakeem who killed ex-permanent secretary in the state, Adamu Jagaba died of stomach ache.
The 18-year-old suspect had on December 7, stabbed Jagaba, who retired from the state Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, to death at the deceased’s block industry and made away with the victim’s car which led to his arrest.
Report said Abdulhakeem had implicated some staff of the deceased in the killing but developed serious stomach pain over which he was rushed to General Hospital in Minna where he died.
“The suspect complained of severe stomach pain and was taken to the General Hospital, Minna, for medical attention and died while receiving treatment”, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Wasiu Abiodun told Punchng.
