Campaign Director-General for Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello’s re-election bid, Senator Smart Adeyemi has told of an alleged side of the incumbent unknown to the public.

Adeyemi disclosed it in an interview with The Sun where he said Bello was a poster boy for humility.

He told the paper: “I will say this maybe he wouldn’t like it, but let me just say one thing about him. When I joined the APC, for about six months, each time I call him he’ll say good afternoon sir. So, I had to tell him that your excellency stop using sir for me because you’re the governor. So, he will tell me he hardly remembers and I will say you’re the governor. Please you’re embarrassing me. You’re the governor of the state.”
