The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf, has nominated Mustapha Kwankwaso, son of Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso as commissioner.
Yusuf himself is married to Kwankwaso’s niece and as a result the former Defence Minister’s son-in-law.
The governor has also nominated Adamu Kibiya, a former Commissioner for Land, who was suspended for making derogatory statements on tribunal judges.
The other commisiomers-nominee are Usman Aliyu and Abduljabbar Garko.
The names of the four nominees have been forwarded to the Kano State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
