A popular thug and member of the Kwara State chapter of All Progressive Congress, APC, Bayo Ajiah, has been shot dead by suspected cultists.
43-year-old Bayo(pictured) was shot dead while he was at his business premises, AJ Car Wash, located around Ilorin Stadium Complex at exactly 4.00pm on Monday.
The deceased who graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic in 1994 and lost his mother last year, was convicted and sentenced to death by hanging in 2005 alongside Yinka Are, for murdering Abdul Yekini Gobir and Abdul Ganiyu Hussein at a night party at Deens Motel, Ilorin, in 2002.
In 2009, they were however granted clemency by the Senate President Bukola Saraki who was then Kwara State governor.
About two years ago, the deceased incurred the wrath of men of the Nigerian Airforce after he beat an officer who mistakenly hit his car.
