An Ilorin Magistrate Court has heard that one of the four victims of killer medical doctor, Dr Abas Adio Adeyemi, is one Abdulazeez Saliu, who he is owing N15m.
Adeyemi, the Chief Medical Director of Kaiama General Kaiama General Hospital, in Kwara State is standing trial for multiple murder.
One of his victims is one Nafisat Halidu, a casual worker at the General Hospital whom he was dating.
The 36-year-old upon the commission of the heinous act concealed Nafisat’s remains in a trash can, filled the bin deposited in a store at the hospital up with cement to cover his tracks.
Magistrate Muhammed Ibrahim heard on Wednesday that another of the killer doctor’s victims is one Saliu.
The latter was killed by Dr. Adeyemi and his accomplice after borrowing him N15m, the prosecution said.
The session ended with Magistrate Ibrahim ordering the remand of the suspect at the Oke- Kura Custodial Centre and adjourned the case till March 24 after considering the submission of the prosecutor, Nasir Yusuf.
According to a police investigation, the suspect also killed one Olanipekun Ifeoluwa Ibukun and dumped her body in the bush.
The distressing report also said, the suspect owned up to sedating one Abubakar, a Fulani boy, before handing him over to his syndicate. The victim is to date, not found.
