The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has told of how deceased Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari, was sending jokes via whatSapp while on deathbed.

Kyari died on Friday of coronavirus related complication almost a month after he was diagnosed with the pandemic.
The 67-year-old’s death has been greeted with outpouring of tributes, another Mustapha who is the Chairman, Presidential Taskforce on the virus spewed during the committee’s briefing on Saturday.
The SGF was effusive about the late CoS revealing the good rapport between them to the point that even on his deathbed he was sending jokes to him.
His word: “If I show you my phone, you will see some of the things that he was sending to me even when he was confirmed positive with COVID-19, he was still sending jokes. Every piece of joke he picked up in the internet he would send it to me.”
Continued: “He never cared whose toes he stepped on, provided it was in the attainment of the legacies he believed President Buhari ought to leave. He was always very considerate. You might hold different opinions but he would drill the matter until he convinces you or you convince him.’’
