The Ondo State chapter of the Labour Party, has called for the discontinuation of Saturday’s election relative to Senate and House of Representatives polls in the area.
The call is coming less than twenty-four hours before the election slated for Saturday.
It was made on Friday during a press conference where the party’s state secretary, Mr Agbaje Abiodun spoke.
Abiodun made the impropriety known, saying, “There is an omission of our party logo on the ballots brought by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives) elections.”
Consequently, he threatened that any attempt to go ahead with the election without remedy the situation by fixing it, would lead to the party dragging the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, to court.
