Kidnappers have killed Apostle Ranti Ige -Daniel, of the Royal Assembly Sanctuary, Lagos, at Isanlu community in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The Pastor’s murder occurred on Tuesday after he attended a revival crusade and was heading to a burial alongside his fiancée and two others in his car when his killers struck at around 8.30pm shooting him dead and whisked away the other occupants of the vehicle in kidnap.
Late Daniel’s colleague, Rev.Dr. Francis Iselowo gave a hint of how the misfortune happened in a Facebook post.
He wrote: “Apostle Ranti Ige-Daniel of the Royal Assembly Sanctuary Lagos from Mopa but based in Lagos was taken away by the wicked ones last week Thursday November 28, 2024 between Idofin and Makutu road very close to Isanlu Kogi State Nigeria. Your life was snatched in a dastardly manner with 3 people still under the captivities of the kidnappers. You were going for a burial in Isanlu but not knowing that it will be your last day on earth.
“3 other people are still in the captivities of the terrorists. While writing this I heard that the kidnappers were asking for 10million Naira per person before they can be released.”
