A Chairman for one of Lagos State local council development areas, Prince Musbau Ashafa of Otto-Awori LCDA, is dead.
Ashafa died of an undisclosed sickness that was ailing him for months, according to thegazellenews.com, which broke the news.
The publication said the deceased passed away on Friday.
The report said prior to his demise due to his ill health, the deceased was for months unavailable for the council’s programmes, and where the occasions required him to attend, his younger brother who doubled as his Chief of Staff, Waliu Ashafa, usually stood in for him.
The late council boss, a prince of Ijanikin kingdom, was rounding off his second term as Otto-Awori LCDA chief which will come to an end next month when his death occurred.
