Omobolanle Raheem, the female lawyer killed by a trigger-happy cop, ASP Drambi Vandi, in Ajah area of Lagos State, has had a street named after her posthumously.
The 41-year-old mother-of-one who was pregnant with twins was hit by the bullet of a gunshot fired at the car she was in with her family by Vandi on Christmas day.
The troubled cop has blamed accidental discharge for his action.
The incident has been making news. One of the latest topic is that John Campos, Chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area, where the deceased lived with her family has named a street in the area after the slain lawyer.
Campos announced her immortalization when he paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family.
