The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Seme Police Division in Lagos State, SP Mojeed Salami, who slumped to death in his office on Tuesday has been buried.
SP Salami was laid to rest in his country home at Ede area of Osun State, according to Muslim burial rites.
Leading up to his demise, late Salami was said to have complained of discomfort mostly bordering on headache, while he was in the office and left for the hospital.
Not long on return, he alarmed his orderly about not feeling good, and directed him to get the Divisional Crime Officer, DCO, ostensibly to hand over, report said, adding that the orderly returned to find his boss on the floor gasping for breath.
Consequently, he was rushed to Badagry General Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
