The State’s Commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Adebimpe Akinsola, issued this warning, which she described as final in a press statement she released.

Adebimpe noted that filmmakers and bodies involved in the production, distribution and exhibition of films and videos within the State engaged in outdoor productions without obtaining permits.

She said the practice ran afoul of the law adding that henceforth anyone who failed to register with the board, and obtain film shooting permit before engaging in any outdoor production would face the wrath of the law.
