A 22-year-old Lagos State University (LASU) undergraduate Favour Daley-Oladele has been murdered in cold blood by her boyfriend, Owolabi Adeeko, his mother Mrs. Adeeko and a Cherubim and Serephim prophet Segun Philips.
The Nation reports that Favour, a final year Theatre Arts student was killed for money ritual by the trio, who are now in police custody.
According to report, she had left her parents’ residence at Mowe on December 8, for school and had told them she was going to branch at a friend’s place and would call on getting to her final destination.
Her failure to put a call through while she was also unreachable caused her parents panic, prompting them to go to LASU to look for her but it was a futile effort.
The distraught Oladeles had to return to Mowe to report the matter to the police who hit the ground running by tracking her phone which was traced to Ikoyi-Ile, in Osun State in possession of Prophet Philips.
To cover their track, the SIM hitherto in the phone was removed while a new one was inserted.
“A C&S prophet Segun Philips was the one using the phone. His church is located at Ikoyi Ile near Ikire, Osun State.
“So, the police from Mowe moved there on December 24; he was arrested and he confessed that Owolabi Adeeko and his mother brought Favour to be used for rituals.
“The prophet also confessed that Owolabi had been staying with him for the past 17 days and he gave information on the whereabouts of the man who the police also arrested that same day,” the paper quoted a police source as saying.
The report said the deceased and her killer boyfriend, a Lasu alumni, were two months old in the relationship.
