In the match, which ended 2-0 in favour of the home side, Schake 04, Balogun was replaced in the 79th minute after his cheek got broken.
Following the injury, he underwent surgery to fix his broken cheek bone.
The German-born Nigerian defender has, however, allayed the fears of many of his fans with a five seconds video on Saturday, where he said the surgery went well, and expressed confidence that he would not be out for long.
“Cheek bone broken not my spirit though – surgery went well. Won’t be gone too long. No wahala, no shaking,” he wrote on the video.
