Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, is dead.
Muhammed’s death occurred around 4:30am on Friday at a hospital in Lokoja, the state capital, hours to Kogi State governorship election.
He was said to be actively involved in the All Progressives Congress, APC campaign for the poll and collapsed in his house on Thursday night.
Consequently the Council chair was rushed to Shifa Hospital where he was confirmed dead in the wee hours of Friday.
His remains has been laid to rest at the Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery.
