Two female siblings have been killed by lightning in Ikirun, headquarters of Ifelodun council of Osun State.
The incident occurred on Sunday around 4:30 pm in the Ogo-Oluwa area of the community.
Report said that the siblings were crossing a field in the area during a drizzle when they were struck.
“They were crossing a school football field around the Ogo-Oluwa area when they were struck down by lightning,” sources said.
