A man and woman believed to be lovers have been found dead in Ankpa local government area of Kogi State.
The deceased are: Sheriff Salifu and Blessing Adama; and were both from Ankpa.
They were found dead and naked at Salifu’s room on Friday after the landlord noticed that he had not seen him on that fateful morning around 9.31am, and consequently raised the alarm, prompting the deceased’s brother to break into the room through the ceiling.
“So, the brother to the deceased entered the room through the ceiling and met his brother and one Blessing Adama of Ojogobi Road Ankpa lying lifeless in the room. Both deceased were seen naked,” Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP William Ovye Aya narrated while confirming the incident.
