By the sound of a statement credited to a police source, one of the domestic workers of Aribemchukwu, the slain daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, has claimed that she was involved in the murder of the slain doctor.
Aribemchukwu fondly called Chuchu was a medical doctor.
Her lifeless body was found at the gate of Parkview Estate in Ikoyi where she lived on Wednesday, day after her murdered.
Consequently three domestic staff with the Ajumogobias were picked up by the police, one of whom report by Punchng citing police source said owned up to the crime under interrogation.
“The deceased was killed in her room and her body was dragged to the front of the gate to make it look like she was killed on the spot. After that, all the blood stains were carefully cleaned but still, they missed some spots. They did not clean it well because it happened at night.
“The house help did not deny what happened. She said, ‘We do am, na we do am’, during an interrogation and everything she said tallied with the evidence on the ground.” the publication quoted the unnamed source as saying.
The same source as per the report made it known that the three suspects were employed same time, a week before the incident.
