Following a massive manhunt for fleeing former Chairman of the Presidential Task Team on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina. Maina, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has released all the phone numbers the fugitive used to make and receive calls, before his disappearance after President Muhammadu Buhari sacked him from the civil service last week after he was secretly reinstated and promoted.

Maina, who is enmeshed in multi-billion naira pension fraud scandal, went into hiding for the second time last week. From his hideout he denied the allegation of fraud against him through his media aide, Jide Fashikun, saying he saved the country about N282bn from June 2010, when the Task Team was constituted.
In a bid to smoke the fugitive out, the anti-graft agency has released all the phone numbers he was known with before his disappearance.
The numbers are, 08098887733, 08037872471, 08142277550, 07037900714, 08106842813, 08091501002, +971552717234 and +971526294678.
However, to avoid being tracked and arrested, Maina has not been using any of the known telephone lines as they now report the same message: “The number you’re calling cannot receive calls at this time” or “The number you’re calling has been switched off.”
