One Jamiu Salihu has been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder of his girlfriend, Temitope Elemide.
The latter was on Sunday raped and stabbed to death at her family residence in Bosero community, Olodo in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State.
According to report, hoodlums took the advantage of the 20-year-old being home alone to perpetrate the dastardly act, with her 29-year-old boyfriend believed to have hands in it, and as a result picked up.
It was further gathered that late Temitope was preparing for the next Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination before her tragic death.
