The police in Ondo State are investigating the killing of a 3-year-old girl by her uncle in a ritual sacrifice to become rich overnight.
The incident happened at Ikare-Akoko in Akoko North East.
Living together in an extended family setting, it was said that the deceased’s mother usually leaves her under the care of her mother-in-law when she goes out.
But on that fateful day while she was leaving home for market, she dropped her with her brother-in-law, Samuel Omosaba.
However on her return, it was the headless corpse of her daughter that she found in the room of 42-year-old Omosaba(pictured with the deceased’s head).
It was gathered that the accused who was arrested on Wednesday by the police had earlier approached a herbalist for money ritual in Ipe Akoko, and was told to bring the head of baby between aged one and five by the herbalist.
