A young man who was taken to a church for deliverance following his poor mental health, has committed suicide in the same church in Owo in Ondo State.
Lanre Falodun (pictured) left his family and friends in deep sorrow when he hung himself on a tree within the church premises around 5.00am on the ill-fated day.
Sources told orijoReporter that the church pastor found the dead body of the 24-year-old hanging by a rope from a tree, and drew the attention of Owo Divisional Police Station to the grisly incident.
It was further gathered that the deceased’s body was removed by a team of homicide detectives and deposited at Owo General Hospital morgue.
