Aliyu Mohammed Sani, the man who in celebration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election in Buachi State swam in drainage(gutter) and drank the dirty water has denied his rumoured death.
Days after Sani’s weird celebration, rumour was rife that he died of gastrointestinal bleeding on March 5 in a hospital in the metropolis.
The said gastrointestinal bleeding he died from was widely believed to be the consequence of his action.
However, it has emerged that the Bauchi resident, who is a painter is alive and kicking.
“As I am talking to you now, I am on my way back to Bauchi after we finished a painting work somewhere outside Bauchi,” he told Daily Trust.
