A man, whose identity is still unknown, has died in Ikorodu area of Lagos State while stealing inside a church.
The deceased, according to New Telegraph, broke into Glorious Voice of God Church, located at Shote area of Ijede, Ikorodu, to steal musical instruments and electrical wires.
He carried out the dastardly operation at night when there was no power and was fleeing with his loots when he sighted some wires at the church outer part and went for them, the paper wrote.
The report said in the middle of fetching the wires, power was restored by Electricity Distribution Company (DisCo) culminating in his death on the spot.
It was said that the church members were greeted by a shocking sight in the morning with his body and stolen items abandoned.
