A reveller has killed five colleagues and injured four others in anger at a New Year’s Day Party at Akinmori community, in Afijo Local Government area of Oyo.
The killer whose identity is yet to make the news and his victims were said to have arrived at a party venue, driving a car in a reckless manner to the annoyance of those on the ground who rebuked him.
The report said instead of being remorseful, he, however, picked offence with the censure, threatening to spill blood. He was later found to be as good as his word.
“He returned into the car and rammed it into the revellers in top speed, consequently killing four persons, while four others are in critical condition. In turn, he fled the scene, but three persons with him in the car were apprehended, mobbed and almost lynched,” sources said.
It was further gathered that the police are on top of the matter.
