One Edward Okorie has killed his girlfriend, identified as Sophy Chika in Abia State.
The incident happened precisely in Ohafia Local Government Area of the state.
According to report the lovers had been cohabiting at Okagwe village over the last three years.
A domestic dispute, however led to the tragedy on Monday during which Okorie killed Sophy who was said to be a nurse.
“Okorie beat Sophy to death early Monday morning and has been arrested by the police,” this medium was told.
The incident adds to the growing list of domestic violence that ends tragically.
