One Godstime Oke has killed his roommate, Gaga Allia, over N300 electricity bill in Warri South Local Government area of Delta State.
According to report, the incident occurred in Okumagba Layout at Oleh Street where both were residents in an apartment until violent anger on the part of Oke put them asunder.
It happened on Wednesday night when an argument ensued between them over Gaga’s refusal to hand over the said sum a co-resident gave him as electricity bill for onward transmission to Oke who is in charge of collection of the bill.
The friends got into a fight over it during which Oke fetched a knife to stab Gaga in the neck and fled the scene.
The deceased report said, bled to death while escaped being lynched by mob but was caught up around Ugborikoko community and handed over to the police at the Nigeria Police Force ‘B’ Division in Warri.
