One Markus Dali has been killed in his bid to settle a fight between two persons.
Dali was a resident of Sina Kwande in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State where the incident happened on August 30.
According to report in general circulation, Dali met his death while trying to stop Barka Yama and Alex Z. Tari from fighting.
The deceased suffered a blow in the process from Barka, which made him to fall unconscious, culminating in his death.
It was added that the 32-year-old suspect is facing culpable homicide under Section 191 of the Penal Code.
The prosecuting officer, ASP Francis Audu, told a magistrates’ court in Yola, how the incident occurred.
At the proceedings Chief Magistrate Muhammed Njidda ordered Barka’s remand at a correctional facility, pending legal advice from the Department of Public Prosecutions.
