A 60-year-old father, Cletus Aguluka, has been arrested for stabbing to death his daughter, Onyinye, a day to her wedding.
The deceased and her killer father lived in Osikwu-Awgbu, in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State with other members of their family.
According to report, Aguluka has temper tantrum and was always throwing tantrum at his family, and on the fateful day, he was said to have gotten home drunk and asked his children for his torch’s whereabouts.
The suspect who has been taken into custody, was reportedly miffed by his children’s failure to locate the torch for him, and later went to bed, only to wake up in the wee hours of the following day to strike Onyinye, his 20-year-old to death with a machete, twenty-four hour to her wedding, an event she was neck-deep in its preparation.
Police source said Late Onyinye was sleeping in her room when the father-from-hell went into the place and killed her.
