One Ridwan Akintoye, who is like him to steal mobile phones at the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has been arrested.
According to report, Akintoye’s victims are
patients on admission and those who visited them.
The 24-year-old is reportedly based in Lagos and fond of frequenting the hospital to perpetrate mobile phone theft.
His last visit was the point of his arrest. It is the result of undercover surveillance put in place by the hospital operators arising from several complaints bordering on missing mobile phones.
Eyewitnesses said, he was caught in the course of stealing another phone while Infinix Hot 9 and Android TCL, both stolen were found on him.
