Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has heard from President Bola Tinubu that his(Alia’s) enemies are allegedly against him succeeding.
Tinubu on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to Benue over last Friday’s massacre in Yelewata community in Guma Local Government area of the state.
The melancholy event carried out by suspected marauding herders left over 100 persons dead and many injured.
“Your political enemies don’t want you to succeed…Are you just realising that?” the President told the governor in one the statements he madeat the occasion.
“Christopher… We need to get our ears to the ground. Let’s get those criminals. Let’s get them out,” that he said to Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, during a town hall meeting with political leaders in Benue State.
