Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has owned up to claim by the presidency that he met President Muhammadu Buhari to seek for contract.
Mbaka sparked dispute between him and the presidency, accusing Buhari of underperformance and calling for a regime change.
In response, Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu, attributed the fiery priest’s vitriol to failure by the president to award him contract which he asked for alongside some men who accompanied him to the villa.
Admitting the meeting on Sunday, Mbaka attacked the president and gave his account of it.
He claimed not to have known the men he led to meet with the president during his first tenure explaining that they were security experts who had offered to help in solving Nigeria’s security challenges.
His word, “I don’t know them, but they came to Enugu and pleaded for me to link them to government. Because of the level of insecurity and how Nigeria has been moving oil outside the country. These are the three people they rejected their offer.”
