One Abisodun Ilori, a mechanic, has been arrested for stealing his customer’s car in Isheri-Oshun area of Lagos State.
Ilori was arrested after a resident in the area complained about his missing Nissan Xterra.
Report said the 54-year-old mechanic, had visited the resident of the car owner when he had gone to church on Sunday to collect the car key from his daughter and fled with the vehicle.
In turn, the owner reported the matter to the appropriate authorities with a manhunt launched for the car by the anti-car theft team of the police yielding positive result.
“It was traced to one Charles Nnoli who received the vehicle from Ilori, and both have been arrested,” police sources said.
