There was shock at Ile-Iwe in Agbado-Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State last Thursday after a mentally sick man committed suicide inside an abandoned and uncompleted building.
The man identified as Mosunmola Raphael was said to have sneaked into the isolated building located at Lawal Unity Street at Ile-Iwe Bus Stop in Meiran on Wednesday night, and was found hanging(scene) the following day.
Sources said residents of Lawal Unity Street were shocked to learn about the suicide and alerted police.
Family source said the 28-year-old suffered from mental problems and had been a patient in mental institution.
