Murjanatu Zubairu, a 400-level female student of the University of Abuja in the Department of Arts Education in the university’s Faculty of Education, earlier declared missing has been found dead.
Murjanatu’s uncle, former Vice-chairman of Kwali Area Council of the FCT, Zubairu Yewuti, had earlier declared her missing, claiming she left home for school on Friday, and since then, her whereabouts had been an enigma.
Latest report, throwing light on the situation, revealed that the undergraduate died in a vehicular accident involving a bus she was on, and a car along the Lugbe – Airport Road, Abuja, on her way to school from home on the fateful day.
“The family of Murja called me in the afternoon and they confirmed that she died in an accident that occurred along the Lugbe – Airport Road last Friday.
“They visited the mortuary at the University of Abuja, Teaching Hospital where her corpse was found,” Yewuti narrated.
