Peddlers of report claiming John Okafor, aka Mr. Ibu is hit by stroke have incurred the wrath of the comic actor.

Report emerged during the week that Mr. Ibu fell into bad health shortly after returning to Lagos, his base, from a trip to Owerri, the Imo State capital.
The rumour allegedly gained traction with the Actors Guild of Nigeria’s President, Emeka Rollas, who was quoted in several reports to have called on Nigerians to pray for the ‘sick’ actor.
However, the 57-year-old thespian was outraged by the report swearing at the purveyors in an interview with Vanguard.
“I have been receiving calls from across the world since today. I don’t know who is spreading this false news about me. I don’t know what they saying. Na their papa get stroke,” he told the paper.
