Pastor Fatoyinbo is dogged by rape scandal as Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola, accused him of assaulting her sexually twice within a week when she was age 16.
Mrs. Fatoyinbo, a pastor too, has been in support of her husband denying the allegation.
On Monday, the first day of a one-week prayer and fasting put together by the church following the scandal, the embattled pastor’s wife hinted about how she would have loved to be more vocal on the knotty issue but for her partner while pledging her utter commitment to their relationship.
She said, “Pastor doesn’t want me to talk. It’s fine… I just want to say we love you. You are our pastor; nobody can take your place. It’s always good to assure people that you love them, not only when you feel that everything is fine with them, even much more when you feel that they are not.”
