A Naval Rating has been arrested in connection with the death of a 16-year-old girl, Miss Nengi Enenimiete, whose remains was found in the wardrobe of a hotel in Twon Brass, Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The suspect’s arrest followed united efforts by the Navy and the police to bring the perpetrator(s) of the heinous crime to justice.
The Naval Rating who was not named is said to play some parts in the girl’s death, with report saying he is in custody of his employer, the Nigerian Navy at Egweama in Brass, and later will be guest of the police before having his day in court, in the form of prosecution.
Recall that Blevera Hotel’s manager discovered Enenimiete’s corpse in a wardrobe in a room. Her remains neither had signs of physical injuries nor mutilation.
The incident happened in November.
