Professor Mahmood Yakubu has completed his term as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
On Tuesday the outgoing INEC chair proceeded on a terminal leave, and handed over to a National Commissioner in the agency, May Agbamuche-Mbu, who took over as the new Chairman of the Commission in acting capacity.
The transition took place at INEC headquarters in Abuja during a stakeholders’ meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners.
