A Nollywood director, Nonso Ekene Okonkwo, has been arrested on suspension of murdering his co-tenant, Obiageli Onankanse.
Okonkwo and Obiageli, a 36-year-old interior decorated were tenants at a residence in Government Reservation Area, GRA, in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

In cahoots with the private security guard of the house, Isaac Sunday, the police alleged that they killed Obiageli whose wedding was scheduled for December this year, and buried her remains in the compound to cover their tracks.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in the State, Faleye Olaleye, disclosed this to newsmen saying the suspects are in custody and investigation ongoing.
The matter has set tongues wagging among Okonkwo’s Facebook friends with one MC JokeApart Cfr posting, “Nonso Ekene Okonkwo was arrested 4(sic) interrogation (sic) cos (sic) he’s a neighbor of d (sic) deceased.. My prayer are with him.”
Aother, Geoffrey Udeagu wrote: “Hmmm God v mercy, this world no balance o, if one is distancing himself from troubles their cloths may gather some trouble and hip on them, God will speak for him God will stand for him God will close the chapter of that case miraculously ijn.”
